Coming from Austria, living legend of Rock and
Blues Original LUKY SCHREMPF -
Gitarrekursleiter (guitar slinger) -  husband,
father and music lover extraordinaire is also the
most loyal friend and fan of TEN YEARS AFTER.
Luky has supported Ten Years After -
"Now" as well as "Classic". He is friends with all the band
members, and even named his son after the guitar
legend Alvin Lee. His son
Alvin Schrempf is also better known as Alvin Shane
if you have had the chance to see The Alvin Lee Band
or just Alvin Lee in 2000/2001 or caught
a listen to some bootlegs from that period you've no
doubt heard his excellent drumming work.
Luky presently plays a behind the scenes role in
the music world and has basically retired from the
gruelling life of the stage performer. Although he
continues to perform in jam sessions with friends
and family, he continues to record and release
these personal recordings to an appreciative audience.
We're very proud to present this special project
in honour of our good friend who like us also kept
the Ten Years After lamp burning even when all
others thought the band had expired due to their
extended amount of inactivity. In point of fact, at
one point there was Brigitte and myself, Herb and
Luky left on the front lines with respect to Alvin
Lee (Solo Career) and Ten Years After (Now) as a working /
contributing band.
